These sort of videos are the reason why I am still subbed to The Verge. None of that iOS BS. I'm not gonna look for no phone/tablet review on here. But with features like these, the big future etc I'm definitely sticking around. At the end of the day, let's face it the quality of their production is unparalleled.

I bought Yuneec E-Go through Amazon a few months ago. Bad fall, was able to get video from security camera. Going up very slight incline at slow speed I stepped on the forward part of the board just enough to lift the rear wheels which created a banana peel effect throwing me forward. I'm just now recovering from the injuries, trying to decide whether to try it again. What I learned: 1) wear a helmet, 2) going up even a very slight incline do not step on the nose of the board. I'm wondering if there are other considerations, I'd prefer not to learn them all by trial and error.

Put these motors in a briefcase and I would buy it. Especially when you have to go from Gate A to Gate Z on an Airport, it would be easier for businessmen to ride on their briefcases. Unlock the briefcase with your smartphone, enter the destination in it, stand on your briefcase and drive/skate to your desired Gate.

California and New York will more than likely require you to get a license to ride this since it is non human powered. The Fact California wanted to force people to get a license to ride a bicycle means this will not fly in tyrannical states.

@***** 2nd Hand smoke is nothing compared to second hand farts. Thats more of an ASSault than any 2nd hand smoke. You should be pushing to outlaw farts. Ask anyone if they would rather smell someones farts or tobacco smoke? I think now that Obamacare is forced on all his servants we should also be forced to wear methane sensing Obamacare underwear that charges every asshole 10$ per fart. If you point your ass towards a cop and fart on him you can be arrested for ASSault - FACT. If you pitch this idea to brain dead liberals they will take it and run with it.

I can understand how people think that these are useless for you can just use a regular longboard, but these boards go faster and I think some allow you to ride them like a regular skateboard when their battery runs out. Also, you gotta admit, the board that imitates snowboarding is pretty damn cool, there is no other skateboard like that.

Electric boards look sick, they'd make it up hard slopes, and that would make it a definitive travel around the city. Too expensive though. Seen all those electric gadgets to move around, including segway, but I wouldn't change my cruiser for anything in the world...

  • fidelio
    fidelio7 ปีที่แล้ว

following the snowboard on flat concrete idea: what if you had strong permanent magnets imbedded in a pattern under the surface of a polyethylene ball, then have a board with a 'cup' on each end (under each foot), where you created electromagnetic fields which could with manipulating the field with controller circuitry could spin the ball in any direction. add some gyros and some strong programming you'd have something pretty amazing.

You can do all of that if you just have some skill at longboarding yeah I know not the average person could do a 360 on a regular longboard but a lot of people can. All it takes is some skill. This video is saying like no one has ever been able to do that. People go 80 miles and more on a longboard

I really liked this video , i am thinking about getting a leifboard but never seen them on sale ,plusses also I hear they are high maintenance that is not quite my idea of fun none of my items take that much maintenance ,,not even my skateboards . have been skate boarding since June 2016 I weighed 94kg then , I now weight 84kgs it's so much fun ,sure I take a sandwich out with me I might grab a coffee but just cos it's electric don't mean you don't get fitter my muscles have never been tighter in my legs butt back in am having to much fun to think about food i have had a few bad falls all due to pot holes which at speed you do see soon enough to ouch i wear full body armour ,helmet ,rist ,knee and ankel support pumps , even with all that protection you still get hurt it still takes 3 weeks of pain and healing time after a nasty accident , but with out it probably would have been months in a cast or two ,people be careful be safe not sorry . I broke my right leg in 4 places had to have a permanent rod from my knee to my ankel ,I also broke my right ankel which took longer than 3 whole years till I could even walk again and 5 year till I could skateboard again ,so,, take my advice , I should add tho I also have a trotter land surfer board ,2x one wheel uni wheels ,one of which I traveled only 50 miles on the other I have done 230 miles on but although my leg is getting stronger by the day I can't take the pain after 60 mins riding a uni wheel the sub uni cycle featured in this video so far I am not using it that much ,, plus an old rapture board I don't use it that much cos of the locking brake which is so awful a brand new 10 inch smart wheel board ,I will use it more once I have mastered the trotter more , and an excellent bike too for rides in the forest near me it's great on top of my 3000 watt dual motor skate board ,I used it more that 500 miles use it every day ,unfortunately the battery has let it down ,it only holds power for 15 mins now ,it ordered a new battery for it that was 2 months ago and still nothing has arrived ,and the tracking number is no help at all ? and my not yet arrived carbon gt evolve 2 in 1 street and At board which is taking ages to arrive , this is had to buy cos of the bad battery on my current board , ouch the evolve board is so expensive but I need the range , I did not bank on the months wait for it after you paid for it either ,that's bad, especially as every other week I get another email from evolve saying it's gonna be another week longer wait for what ever reason etc it's not the birthday present deal I expected as it's gonna be 2 whole months after my birthday ,even though I bought and paid for it days b4 my birthday , ok I also have a ninebot mini I ride them all ,some are more user friendly and easier to handle like the ninebot , that thing is excellent ,I take it literally every where all my shopping too I have traveled 700 miles on just that and i can even get dressed on it if I am late ,and i have many times done up my belt my shirt buttons my tie and all while flying the the railway station on it ,I ride my nine bot more that 6 hours every day comfortably that's to charges I also love the lights on it so you can easy ride it at night

If any of you longboarded you'd know how unnecessarily the motor is. It makes it much much heavier, defeating the lightweight travel purpose. The longboard itself is already more than sufficient for traveling short to mid distances.. I can hit 25km/hr on flats EASILY.

not everybody is american - and not every school is that slow - over here in aus we are done with algebra by year 6. Typical american mind set- assuming everyone does things the way YOU do them - NOPE you're insignificant - get used to it..

From what I remember... 6th grade was pre-algebra, 7th grade was just algebra, I don't remember what 8th grade was because it was some kind of computer math course. 9th grade was geometry, 10th grade was advanced algebra and trigonometry... So as for what algebra did I do in middle school? I did the majority of algebra that they teach in public schools in middle school... not high school.

Man, I'm shipping off to college and all the local stores are half a mile to a mile away, and I dont want to do a small hike right after football practice or exhaust myself further on a bike. I need something like the solo wheel. That said, the people who need this stuff don't typically have $1500 to blow

@Jeo Trillio just buy an actual longboard or a freeboard there both like wayyy cheaper and not a dumb gimmick and search up freeboards there the exact same thing i'm pretty sure its a freeboard rip off

If you drop it the throttle will no longer be held down so you will begin to decelerate but you will not be able to brake.
